Spiritual Habits for Real People
Below are books I've written on Spiritual Practices of all sorts. I've included the introduction online and in some cases a chapter. I'm currently working on a book on evangelism for Real People and looking at options for my next book. (Got a suggestion? Let me know!)

Discover Prayer for Real People
I can't sit still. Really. I'm one of those folks who fidgets in church (and most everyplace else). When it came to prayer and church and spirituality, I felt like a failure because it seems if you can't sit still with your eyes closed and your mind focused for five minutes, let alone a half-hour, then you must not really be spiritual. If this sounds like you, I promise...you're not alone. Click here to read more.

Developing Spiritual Habits for Real People
My to-do list is longer than my Day Timer. From the moment I rise at O'Dark-Thirty until the moon starts yawning I'm buzzing from one thing to another. I know that spirituality is an discipline, but I was having trouble fitting God into the cracks. I wrote High Voltage Spirituality not only as a self-prescription, but for my friends who discover that life is living them, not the other way around. When I finished, I had more info than the publisher had space, so I've included the Introduction and chapter 10, "The Spiritual Habit of Retreating" online for you. Click here to read on!

Find a Church for Real People
Like I said earlier, I don't sit still very well. And I really like being a participant in every part of "church." Well, the only way I've found that possible is in the House Church (for instance, just try having a conversation with the minister in the middle of their sermon!). In the House Church, everything is participatory, from the beginning to the end. Plus there are no staff or buildings to support, so the dollars go a lot farther. Because I believe this is such an important model for doing and being church, I've put the whole first chapter here online. Click here to read on!
